19. Admissions/Requirements

International/Student Application Process:

We welcome your application to Midwest Central Christian University!

When we evaluate applications, we value intellectual ability, academic achievement, and personal qualities that will contribute to our mission and MCCU online - campus community.

Admissions Decision:
Admission decisions are competitive and are based primarily on the following factors:

*Students Applying for Full Enrollment - Learners should be at least 18 years of age.
*Any Learners under 18 years of age must have parental supervision at all times.
MCCU enforces these restrictions to protect the safety and security of minors and ask for your understanding of patience and cooperation.

Students/Learners must Submit the Following:
*Cumulative high school GPA and college (if applicable)
*GED scores (if applicable)
*Consistency and transcripts of Grades
*Results from the SAT or ACT without writing, using the highest score on each section (super scoring)
*Essay submission

Note: Other documentation such as reference letters, community service, and leadership, may also be helpful or required by the MCCU admissions committee.

First step: Send us the application form and include the following items:

Academic records from all previous schools that you have attended (your high school or university records).

These must be transcripts in English. If your country has any type of national examination system for high school graduates, please include copies of those results.

You may send us certified copies, however, after an initial review, we may ask you to send official copies to an outside credential evaluation. Credential Evaluators can be found at National Association of Credential Evaluation Services @ naces.org. The credential evaluators are listed under NACES Members section.

TOEFL or IELTS test results, if you have taken them. TOEFL or IELTS are not required and you will take an English proficiency test.

If you have taken TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, ACT or other such proficiency exams, please report your scores (test type, score, dates taken). If possible, please enclose or have sent the official score reports. These tests are NOT required but are useful to help your application.

For transfer/exchange: Admissions will send you a Transfer Form upon your request. List all universities at which you were/are registered. Use a separate sheet if needed. Include a completed Transfer Form with your application and be sure to send your school records from each school you attended to Midwest Central Christian University.

Before applying, please familiarize yourself with the cost of study at Midwest Central Christian University. This information is posted on our website. The United States government requires all international students to provide proof that they have enough funding available for each year of study.

Photocopy of your Passport or State Issued I.D.

Second step: After we receive all of the items listed above, we will process your application and notify you of our decision we will require

1) A $250 - Payment for the Administration/Evaluation Fee and would need to be paid to MCCU for Full Enrollment

2) A partial payment of $50 is acceptable for the first payment.
Any remaining balance can be divided into monthly or quarterly installments.

Deadlines: Midwest Central Christian University has open enrollment so you may apply at any time.

After filling out the Application form and all other items necessary for application are received, Midwest Central Christian University will evaluate your application and evaluate your information. Please allow enough time for these materials to reach Midwest Central Christian University, for us to process them.
